Expert Panel
Status
Section titled “Status”Expert Panel is first-party infrastructure shipped with arka-deck, but no first-party Expert Pack ships in this release.

Expert Panel prepares the technical contract that will turn an arka-deck project into a specialized work environment: expert profiles, skills, methods, workflows, workers, documents, rules, prompts and eventmaps.
A future active pack will become the business source of truth for the selected project. It will not apply to other projects.
Activation
Section titled “Activation”Activation is not offered in this release. The tunnel remains the target flow once a pack has its dedicated guardian pack validated:
- pack presentation;
- fixed squad presentation;
- mission contextualization;
- project-level pack activation;
- chat opening with the pack leader.
The squad is not a user selection: the pack brings its complete composition. This avoids asking a non-technical user to decide which profiles make the mission valid.
Runtime workflow
Section titled “Runtime workflow”A future activation will produce:
- a project ↔ pack link;
- a fixed squad exposed to the workflow;
- an agent policy derived from the pack;
- pack prompt injections;
- pack eventmaps and rules;
- a first visible leader message in the chat session.
The leader opens the discussion, restates the mission and asks missing questions before producing.
Cortex Lite role
Section titled “Cortex Lite role”Expert Panel relies on Cortex Lite as a local context graph. Cortex Lite materializes relationships between the project, pack, profiles, methods, rules, documents and events.
Cortex Lite is not file storage. Files and artifacts stay in their dedicated surfaces; Cortex Lite provides the relationships and structured context agents resolve during local execution.
Without Cortex Lite available, arka-deck does not have the expected local runtime for these workflows.
Current limits
Section titled “Current limits”- The marketplace is not active in this version.
- The public Expert Panel catalog is empty by default.
- Private client packs are not included in the public repository or tarball.
- An Expert Pack will only be exposed once its dedicated guardian pack is validated end-to-end.
